Louis Vuitton Casts a ‘Final Fantasy’ Character in Spring 2016 Campaign - http://bit.ly/1Ue0DA6
Fashionista released an article on the Louis Vuitton Series 4 campaign which sees a video game character star in the campaign. If that’s not innovativeness then I don’t know what is. Monocycle Podcast - http://bit.ly/1QS2g8q
I’ve caught up on the past three Monocycle podcast episodes on Sound Cloud. Leandra Medine’s commentary on boredom, choice and self-sabotage is definitely worth a listening.
What I’m Watching:
David O. Russell’s newest film Joy is a story—half fiction—about Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop. Jennifer Lawrence, playing Joy, delivers another career best performance. The movie itself dragged slightly, but Jennifer Lawrence’s formidable performance throughout made it worthwhile. The Oscar is between her, Brie Larson and Saoirse Ronan.
I began watching Mark and Jay Duplass’ HBO series Togetherness. The show is about a husband, Brett, (played by Mark Duplass) and wife, Michelle, who take in his best friend and her sister in their time of need. The show is a wonderfully delightful display.
