My magazine addiction is no secret to readers of this blog. I collect AnOther, Dazed, i-D, American Vogue, The Gentlewoman and Interview. Another magazine that I collect is Ashley Heath's Pop. A tome of sorts, the magazine exceeds 500 pages and is released bi-annually. It provides me with gorgeous images and interesting reading material that will last from February to August, and August to February. This season's issue looks amazing, as always and I can't wait to pick it up.
Juergen Teller-whose work I'm not a fan of-takes things too far with his photo of French actress Adèle Exarchopolous for the cover. Absurdly, she is wearing a blue plastic bag over her head. THIS IS NOT ART.
Mariacarla Boscono, swathed in luxurious haute fourrure Fendi, is photographed for her cover by Sean and Seng for a limited edition cover-exclusively available at Claire de Rouen bookshop. Her editorial (which can be seen here) is quite beautiful and is styled by Lady Amanda Harlech (a Fendi consultant, and friend to Karl Lagerfeld).
Harley Weir is currently one of my favourite photographers along with Theo Wenner. Weir photographs Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen for two covers. Wearing Chanel on both, a barefaced Gisele looks stunning as always. The cover above left is the one of two I'm torn between getting.
Finally, one of my all time favourite models is photographed for two covers: Sasha Pivovarova. The Russian supermodel was captured by the talented Brianna Capozzi. Capozzi photographed Bella Hadid in the last Pop and I loved that editorial. Wearing Vetements on the above left cover and Ashley Williams on the above right, Sasha looks beautiful. The above left cover and Gisele's second cover are the two I'm debating between.
The new issue of Pop is out now.
